Not near it.
Most two-bedroom rentals in Roatán at this price sit on the main road. You get a pool in the yard and you drive to the water. The Bay Suite is the other thing: a walkout apartment at the water's edge, underneath the main home. Open the door and you're on the sand.
From that door it's a few steps to a our dock, a sandy beach, kayaks and paddleboards, and a WWII shipwreck — the Roly Poly, grounded here in 1945 — close enough to snorkel without a boat. Three reefs sit off the bay. The skiff runs the Inshore Pirate Passage east through the mangroves after a short orientation. None of it is an excursion you book and wait for. It's all right there, all week, and no one is charging you for it.
Two bedrooms, a full bath, a full kitchen and bay views from the moment you wake up. Free parking on the property, air conditioning, fiber WiFi, and the infinity pool across the grass whenever you want it. Built for a couple of divers, a small family, or anyone who'd rather be in the water than driving to it.

There are some stairs to reach the dock and beach. Ramps are available at most points but are steep. Please contact us if you have specific mobility requirements.
Dive shop access
La Rosa Dive & Fish is private and guest-focused — tanks are available and air fills for a small fee, with occasional access for a neighbor or outside guest. No shared boats, no schedules you didn't set. They also book deep sea fishing right from our dock — wahoo, mahi, grouper, and snapper minutes offshore, with tuna, tarpon, bonefish, and permit on the right day. Certifications and guided dives are handled right on-site, taught by PADI dive masters and instructors who were literally raised diving these waters.
La Rosa, right next door
The Bay Suite sits closest to La Rosa, our dockside restaurant — open most days and nights, music low in the background, a live band or DJ a couple times a month. It draws neighbors and boats in off the bay, so expect other diners at the dock. It also means dinner is a short walk in bare feet.

You get both travel days
The island standard is 4 PM in and 10 AM out, which costs you the afternoon you land and the morning you leave. Flights into Roatán arrive in the morning and leave in the afternoon, so our times are set to the flights. Land at 9:00 and you're in the pool by 10:30. Going home, the suite is yours until 3:00 — and if your flight is later, leave the bags with Jorge and stay at the dock until you go. No late-checkout fee, ever.
